At sunrise we started at Ta Prohm, the temple that had deliberately been left unrestored by the archeologists. Huge stone walls, covered with moss, were sinking unevenly back into the jungle floor. Wan dusty early morning light illuminated some corners and slanted through windows. We wandered through the corridors hushed with wonder...some of the corridors seem to go on endlessly in four directions. You can appreciate the lines of the architecture from a million different standpoints.
