New Zealand was incredible. Where else can you sip espresso in the midst of prehistoric rainforest? Where else do the sheep have a view of huge windswept beaches on one side of them, and dense subtropical forest on the other side, plus a glacier towering in the distance? Unlike the South Pacific, this country was created for backpackers. Plus, they make killer fish and chips.
